Hudson, FL (December 19, 2020) - Two teenagers sustained injuries in a car accident that took place on State Road 52 on Friday, December 18th. The crash was reported around 6:00 p.m. near the intersection with Chicago Avenue.
According to police, a 53-year-old woman from Hudson was traveling westbound on SR 52 when she struck the two teens in the roadway. The boys, ages 13 and 14, were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Both were listed in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle, who remains unidentified at this time, was not injured in the crash. No other injuries were reported.
Troopers are continuing to investigate the accident. There is no additional information available at this time.

A 31-year-old man from Tampa died and three members of his family suffered injuries when his vehicle blew a tire on Interstate 4. The crash took place on Saturday, April 20th, around 6:00 p.m. Authorities say that the driver was traveling westbound near Branch Forbes Road when he lost control of his SUV and crossed over into the center median. The SUV flipped and ejected him from the vehicle. His passenger, 35-year-old Jennifer Rodriguez, was also ejected. Rodriguez's two children, ages 13 and 1, were also in the vehicle. Rodriguez suffered serious injuries and the children sustained less serious injuries. The driver was killed in the crash. He has not been identified at this time. Read more
