Immokalee, FL (March 19, 2021) - A man from Immokalee was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Monday, March 15th. The incident took place on West Main Street near the Azteca Supermarket.
According to police, 77-year-old Andres Domingo was walking on West Main Street when he was hit by a vehicle. After striking Domingo, the driver fled the scene before officials could arrive. Domingo was rushed to Lee Memorial Hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Police have not made an arrest at this time and are still searching for the suspect. A description of the vehicle has not been provided.
