Indian River County, FL (February 12, 2019) - A crash on Monday, February 11th left a motorcyclist suffering from serious injuries. The crash involved the motorcycle and another vehicle and took place around 1:00 pm near the intersection of Eighth Street and Indian River Boulevard.
The Florida Highway Patrol was called to investigate the accident. Troopers declined to release any specific details on how the crash took place. The motorcyclist was airlifted to a trauma center at Indian River Hospital. The driver of the vehicle was also hospitalized but did not suffer serious injuries. Neither the motorcyclist nor the driver of the car was identified.
The area was closed for about two hours while police and rescue workers were at the scene. There are no further details available at this time.
