Indian River County, FL (August 3, 2019) - A two-car crash on 45th Street sent at least two people to the hospital on Saturday, August 3rd, in Indian River County. Police responded to the crash scene around 2:00 a.m.
The Indian River County Fire Rescue was also called to the scene. Workers were forced to extricate the driver from one of the cars before taking him to a local hospital. At least one other person was injured in the crash, although the nature and extent of the injuries remain unknown at this time. Both cars were stopped along the shoulder of the highway following the accident.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating. There is no additional information currently available.
