This morning, a driver was traveling in the wrong direction in Flagler County and was killed in an Interstate 95 head-on collision. The fatal crash took place around 2:15 a.m. this morning near the Palm Coast Parkway.
A Chevy Cobalt was headed north in the wrong direction when it struck a Hyundai Tucson head-on. The driver of the cobalt was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the Tucson was critically injured. He was taken to Halifax Hospital for treatment.
The names of the drivers have not yet been released.
