When we think of serious and fatal accidents, we tend to think of cars and other types of passenger vehicles. While bicycle accidents do not usually come to mind, this does not mean that bicycle accidents are any less dangerous. In fact, there are about 100 deaths attributable to Florida bicycle accidents each year and many more injuries reported as a result of these crashes. Bicycles offer little protection from the force and impact of a collision with a larger vehicle.
We wish to offer our condolences to the victim's family following this bicycle crash in Inverness.
