Jacksonville, FL (August 28, 2021) - A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash that took place in Jacksonville on Friday, August 27th. The crash occurred between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway near the intersection with Wilson Street.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a car was traveling southbound on MLK when the driver struck a pedestrian. The driver failed to stop at the scene. Rescue workers arrived and pronounced the victim dead as a result of his injuries. Troopers are still looking for the driver. The vehicle is believed to be a 2015-2021 white Dodge Challenger. The deceased victim was not immediately identified.
