While not as common as crashes involving cars and passenger vehicles, Florida bicycle accidents occur quite often. In 2018, more than 6,500 bicycle accidents were reported in Florida, with nearly 6,200 injuries and over 100 fatalities as a result. Bicyclists in Florida are offered little protection when they are involved in an accident and they are likely to suffer serious injuries and even death in these types of crashes. A Florida bicycle accident must be closely investigated in order to determine the cause.
We would like to offer our most sincere condolences to the victim's family following this tragic bicycle crash in Jacksonville.
