Jacksonville, FL (September 1, 2019) - A crash on Jacksonville's Westside left one man dead on Saturday, August 31st. The crash took place just before 6:00 a.m. on I-295 near Wilson Boulevard.
According to reports, 82-year-old Bobby Forrest was the victim of the deadly crash. Forrest was ejected from the vehicle in the crash and was later pronounced dead by authorities. No information was given regarding the cause of the crash. At this time, it is unclear if anyone else sustained injuries and how many other vehicles were involved.
The Florida Highway Patrol is looking into the crash and an investigation remains ongoing. No further details are available.
