Jacksonville, FL - Eight-Car Injury Crash on Blanding Blvd.

Jacksonville, FL (March 19, 2021) - Police in Jacksonville responded to a crash on I-295 on Friday afternoon. The incident happened on Blanding Boulevard.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, a total of eight cars were involved. At least one person was seriously injured as a result of the accident the multiple lanes were blocked to traffic. There is no word on the cause of the crash. Motorists were urged to use caution and to find alternate routes of travel if possible.

The accident is still under investigation. There is no further information available.
