Jacksonville, FL (February 2, 2021) - The Jacksonville Fire Department responded to the scene of a two-car accident on Tuesday, February 2nd. The crash occurred on Cassat Avenue near the intersection with Normandy Boulevard.
According to authorities, the collision involved a pickup truck and a van. There is no word on the details leading up to the accident at this time. Five children inside the van were taken to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries. An adult was also injured in the accident. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and to find alternate routes of travel if possible due to delays near the crash scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing. There is no further information available at this time.
