Jacksonville, FL (September 29, 2019) - A crash with injuries took place on the Matthews Bridge on Sunday, September 29th. The crash happened around 3:00 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the Arlington Expressway.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. A black SUV and a white sedan were involved in the crash. Both vehicles had heavy front-end damage. At least one person was taken to the hospital with injuries caused by the accident. There is no information on the nature or extent of injuries at this time. The collision slowed traffic on the bridge as police and rescue crews worked at the scene.
