Jacksonville, FL (December 29, 2018) - A crash involving a motorcycle and a truck sent two men to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries. The accident happened on Soutel Drive in Jacksonville on Friday, December 28th.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the accident scene near Sibbald Road and Clyde Drive. Police have not released details on exactly how the crash occurred. After the collision, an ambulance rushed the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries. The truck driver was also sent to the hospital but with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers have not identified either driver involved.
Police are still investigating the crash and are expected to review surveillance video from a local business to assist them with the accident reconstruction. There is no word on any potential charges at this time.
