Jacksonville, FL (October 11, 2019) - A man was killed in a motorcycle crash that took place in Jacksonville on Thursday, October 10th. The accident took place around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Crystal Springs Road and Summit Oaks Drive.
Officials say that the motorcycle was traveling eastbound when an SUV turned into its path. The SUV and motorcycle collided with one another. The motorcyclist suffered critical injuries and was later pronounced dead. The SUV driver remained at the scene. Police have not determined if the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet when the crash occurred.
The SUV driver was charged with driving on a suspended license. Police are still investigating the accident at this time.
