Jacksonville, FL (April 9, 2019) - A crash left one person dead on Tuesday, April 9th. The crash took place around 5:30 a.m. on I-295, near Town Center Parkway.
The Florida Highway Patrol arrived on the scene in response to the crash. When troopers arrived, they found one person deceased from injuries sustained in the crash. There is no word on what caused the accident to occur or the number of vehicles involved. Police have not released the name of the crash victim at this time.
Traffic remained backed up around the crash scene while police worked to investigate the accident clear away debris. No further details were available.
