Jacksonville, FL (January 28, 2021) - One person sustained injuries in a crash that took place in Jacksonville on Tuesday, January 26th. The accident was reported just after 8:00 p.m. on J. Turner Butler Boulevard near Hodges Boulevard.
The Florida Highway Patrol initially responded to the crash. Troopers say that two cars were involved. One of the drivers fled the scene after the accident. There is no information or details on the events leading up to the crash. The injured victim was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. All lanes of the roadway were closed until about 9:00 p.m. Police have not released any details on the cause of the crash.
