Jacksonville, FL (September 1, 2019) - A crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle took place in Jacksonville on Saturday, August 31st. The crash occurred in the city's Southside at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Eve Drive West around 9:45 p.m.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, along with police, responded to the scene. When officials arrived, they discovered a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was suffering from critical, life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police have not released the identity of the pedestrian and there is no word on exactly how the crash took place or whether the driver was injured.
An investigation is ongoing and no further details are available at this time.
