Jacksonville, FL - Six People, Including Four Children, Hurt in J. Tuner Butler Boulevard Crash

Jacksonville, FL (August 9, 2019) – Six people, including four children, were injured in a two-car crash along J. Turner Butler Boulevard in Jacksonville. The collision took place on Thursday, August 8th.
According to crash reports, a Toyota Scion and a Jeep Cherokee were traveling westbound on Butler Boulevard near I-295. Witnesses reported that the Scion made an improper lane change and crossed into the path of the Cherokee. The Scion then left the roadway and struck a metal pole. The Scion driver sustained serious injuries, and four children inside the car also suffered injuries. No one in the Cherokee was hurt.
Police are still investigating the collision and its cause.
