Jacksonville, FL (April 15, 2021) - Three people were critically hurt in a car accident on Thursday afternoon in Jacksonville. The accident took place on Merrill Rad near Columbine Drive.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, a white Dodge was traveling eastbound on Merrill Road when the driver made a hard left turn. The car veered off the roadway and slammed into a telephone pole. A child and two adult men in the vehicle were taken to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. There is no information on what caused the accident to take place at this time. The westbound lanes of Merrill Road were closed while police investigated at the accident scene.
