Jacksonville, FL (July 23, 2021) - A trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol sustained injuries in a rear-end crash in Jacksonville on Friday, July 23rd. The accident took place on Interstate 295.
According to a report, the trooper's vehicle was stationary at a traffic stop when it was struck from behind by a car. The trooper, who was not immediately identified was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the car was not injured.
The FHP is investigating the accident at this time.
No further information has been released.
