Jacksonville, FL (August 7, 2019) - A fiery crash on I-295 in Jacksonville left a truck driver with injuries. The crash happened on Monday, August 5th.
According to witness reports, a Mazda Miata and a semi-truck were traveling north on I-295 when the Miami sideswiped the semi. The Miata crashed into the semi when it swerved to avoid another car that was merging onto the highway. The Miata and the semi then both crashed into a guardrail, forcing the semi to catch fire. The truck driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The Miata driver sustained minor injuries.
