Riding a motorcycle presents an extreme risk. Over 80% of all Florida motorcycle crashes result in injuries and more than 500 people are killed annually in motorcycle crashes on Florida's roadways. Motorcycles offer little protection from the force and impact of a serious crash and riders should always use care and caution to lower the risk of being involved in a serious accident.
