A 42-year-old man from Satellite Beach, Jason Monrow Boyd, died last evening when he lost control of his 2004 Honda. He went off the roadway and struck a guardrail, which made him collide with a concrete barrier. The vehicle then went eastbound and went off the road again, where it collided with a tree.
He was immediately taken to Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach and died there. At the time, Boyd was not wearing a seatbelt.
There were two children inside his vehicle, aged 11 and 13. They suffered serious injuries and were taken to Indian River Medical Center for treatment.
