Jupiter, FL (August 4, 2019) - A bicycle and motorcycle collided with each other during the Jupiter Medical Center Loggerhead Triathlon on Saturday, August 3rd.
According to the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, the crash took place around 7:30 a.m. on State Road A1A, near Indiantown Road. The bicyclist, identified as Chris Diaz, was struck by the motorcycle as he was participating in the triathlon. Rescue workers treated Diaz for multiple injuries but he is expected to be okay. The motorcycle riders were not hurt in the crash. Jupiter police also responded to the incident.
