Kendall, FL (June 1, 2019) - An officer with the Medley Police Department sustained injuries in a crash that took place on the Florida Turnpike on Friday, May 31st. The crash was reported near the cutoff with State Road 874.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials rushed to the crash scene to assist the injured officer, who was taken to Jackson South Medical Center for her injuries. The officer was later identified as Jeanette Said-Jinete. There is no word on Said-Jinete's condition or the nature of her injuries at this time. No details were released on how the crash occurred or the number of vehicles involved.
