A serious accident involving a skateboard and a moving vehicle ended in disaster when a young man was critically injured. The accident took place around 12:30 p.m. yesterday in Niceville.
A 17-year-old boy named Kenneth Alan Moss was critically injured when he pushed himself from a moving vehicle to go down a hill on his skateboard. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 19-year-old Seth Tyson Farrer. Farrer was driving his Ford Edge at the top of a hill when Moss grabbed ahold of the back of the vehicle to gain speed and push himself down a hill.
Moss was not wearing a helmet at the time and lost his balance, falling and hitting the pavement. He was immediately taken to the hospital and has been listed in critical condition. He sustained life-threatening injuries.
