Key Largo, FL (July 29, 2019) - A crash between two cars in Key Largo left one person dead on Monday, July 29th. The crash took place around 2:30 p.m. on US-1.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. At least one of the vehicles involved was a truck. Reports indicate that the truck rolled over following the impact. The deceased victim has not been identified by police at this time. The crash caused the road to be shut down while a heavy police and rescue presence was on the scene.
No further word on the crash or the circumstances surrounding it has been released.
