Kissimmee, FL (October 28, 2019) - A pedestrian from Kissimmee was killed while attempting to cross Pleasant Hill Road on Saturday, October 26th. The crash was reported near Merry D Lane around 8:30 p.m.
According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, 33-year-old Jeffrey Benjamin was driving a 2015 Nissan northbound on Pleasant Hill. At the same time, 52-year-old Harold Hatch attempted to cross the road from east to west. Hatch was struck by the Nissan and pronounced dead at the scene. He was not in a crosswalk at the time of the accident.
Troopers are still investigating and there is no further information available at this time.
