LaBelle, FL (September 8, 2019) - Officials were on the scene of a fatal crash on State Road 80 near Labelle. The crash took place on Saturday, September 7th.
According to reports, the accident happened near the intersection with Sam Jones Trail, near US 27. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the accident scene. At least one person was pronounced dead, but there is no word on the total number of injuries. No information was released on how the collision took place and officials have not identified the deceased victim.
A roadblock was set up in the area while troopers investigated the accident. No further details are available at this time.
