Lake City, FL (September 17, 2019) - A fatal crash involving three trucks took place in Lake City on Tuesday, September 17th. The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-75 around 2:30 p.m.
Officials responded to the scene near the exit for Highway 441. There were a total of four vehicles affected in the accident. Officers say that three semi-trucks and a car were in a chain reaction crash. One person was killed as a result of the collision, but it is unclear which vehicle they were in. Authorities have not identified the deceased victim. The crash caused all southbound lanes to be closed while an investigation was ongoing.
