Lake County, FL (September 5, 2021) - One person died following a two-vehicle accident in Lake County on Sunday, September 5th. The accident took place at the intersection of U.S. 27 and Vineyard Way around 3:00 p.m.
According to Lt. Kim Montes with the Florida Highway Patrol, there were two cars involved in the crash. The victim was pronounced dead at the accident scene and has not been identified at this time. Police have not provided any details on the victim's identity. The southbound lanes of U.S. 27 were blocked as motorists were advised to find alternate routes of travel. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed.
