Lake Worth, FL (August 10, 2019) - A pedestrian crash was reported in Lake Worth on Friday, August 9th. The crash took place around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of 6th Avenue South and Grove Street
The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was among the agencies that responded to the scene of the crash. The unidentified pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the accident. Workers transported the pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, to a local hospital for treatment. It is not clear if they were in a crosswalk when the crash occurred, and there is no word on whether any other injuries were reported.
Parts of 6th Avenue were closed following the accident as police investigated at the scene.
