Lakeland, FL (May 9, 2019) - One person is dead following a crash on Thursday, May 9th. The crash took place on State Road 33, at Epicenter Boulevard.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene around 4:30 p.m. Police were able to identify the vehicles involved in the crash. A fatality was also confirmed at the scene, though officials have not released any more information concerning the identity of the deceased individual, nor the circumstances surrounding the accident. Traffic was rerouted around the accident scene while officers investigated.
