Largo, FL (July 10, 2021) - A 53-year-old man was killed in a crash that took place in Largo on Saturday, July 10th. The crash took place around 5:10 a.m. on Seminole Boulevard at the intersection with Walsingham Road.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a 50-year-old man from Seminole was traveling northbound on Seminole Boulevard. At the same time, a 53-year-old man from Largo was crossing the road. The driver struck the pedestrian, causing him to suffer critical injuries. The unidentified pedestrian was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The driver was not hurt. Troopers did not release the names of those involved. It is unknown whether any charges are expected to be filed.
