Lauderhill, FL (November 7, 2019) - A Lauderhill police officer and another person suffered injuries in a crash that took place on Wednesday, November 6th. The accident happened near the intersection of University Drive and Commercial Boulevard.
According to investigators, the crash happened in the southbound lanes of the roadway. There is no word on how the crash took place. Rescue workers transported the officer to Broward Health Medical Center with serious injuries. The other driver was taken to a hospital with injuries to his leg. Both the officer and the other driver are expected to recover fully from their injuries.
