Lee County, FL (November 23, 2019) - A mother and a son were killed in a hit-and-run crash on State Road 82 in Lee County. The crash occurred on Friday, November 22nd between 6 and 7:00 a.m. in the area of Gregory Avenue.
The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene to investigate. When troopers arrived, they found 46-year-old Katherine Cujas and 26-year-old Ronald Cujas outside of their cars on the side of the road. Authorities believe that both were struck by a 2000 to 2002 red Dodge pickup truck. Katherine and Ronald Cujas were pronounced dead at the crash scene. No additional details surrounding the crash have been released.
