Lee County, FL (June 5, 2021) - Two people were injured in a car accident on I-75 in Lee County. The crash happened on Friday, June 4th on Interstate 75 near Corkscrew Road.
The Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene shortly after the collision took place. According to troopers, a pickup truck was traveling southbound when another vehicle tried to change lanes, causing a crash between the two vehicles. A driver in the second vehicle and a passenger in the pickup truck were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Troopers charged the driver of the second vehicle with making an improper lane change. There is no further information available at this time.
