Lehigh Acres, FL (August 10, 2019) - Police were on the scene of a fiery crash in Lehigh Acres on Friday, August 9th. The crash occurred around 10:00 p.m. in the 800 block of Williams Avenue.
Officials with the Lee County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the scene. According to police, at least one car involved in the crash caught fire and firefighters were working to put out the flames. Injuries were also reported in the accident. The nature and extent of any injuries are not known at this time, nor have police provided any details on the cause of the accident.
Williams Avenue was closed near West 9th Street as deputies were on the scene. No further information is available.
