A fatal car accident can is one of the most difficult things that a family can ever have to experience. One minute a loved one is simply going about their day and the next, they are suddenly taken too soon. There is no time for closure and the fatality hits home very hard.
In this situation, the first thing that occurs is a detailed crash investigation. Police will survey the scene and develop a written accident report which details the events leading to the crash. After this report is done, it is important to consider whether any negligence caused the collision to occur. If there are fatalities, it must always be determined whether the person died as a result of the someone else's negligence.
