A hit-and-run accident can have devastating consequences for both victims and their families. Those who cause these collisions are often at fault for the crash themselves and choose to flee the scene in an effort to avoid responsibility for the crash. Last year, there were more than 100,000 hit-and-run accidents in Florida, accounting for over 20% of all reported crashes. In many cases, injured victims were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
We would like to offer our thoughts and best wishes to the injured teenager following this hit-and-run accident in Lehigh Acres.
