Lutz, FL (September 14, 2019) - An infant was seriously hurt in a crash involving four vehicles in Lutz on Friday, September 14th. The crash occurred on Van Dyke Road.
Investigators with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office were on the scene following the accident. Deputies say that the crash was caused when a sedan failed to stop for a stop sign on Brown Road and crashed into another vehicle that was traveling eastbound on Van Dyke. A baby in one of the vehicles was rushed to a local hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries. There is no word on whether anyone else was hurt. Officers have not identified anyone involved in the crash at this time.
An investigation is ongoing and there is no information regarding potential charges.
