Manatee County, FL (September 11, 2018) - A crash was reported on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge Tuesday morning. The crash happened in the southbound lanes around 7:49 am.
Reports on the scene indicate that one vehicle was overturned on the inside southbound lane. The bridge remained closed until approximately 9:45 am. There is no word on how many vehicles were involved in the accident. There is further no information on the extent or severity of injuries sustained.
Authorities with the Florida Highway Patrol are still investigating this accident.
