Manatee County, FL (July 1, 2021) - Officials in Manatee County responded to the scene of a three-car accident on Wednesday, June 30th. The crash happened around 7:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 41 near 53rd Avenue West.
Police say that a 21-year-old old Bradenton man was driving north on U.S. 41 when he lost control of his vehicle. The sedan skidded into the southbound lanes where it collided head-on with a second vehicle. A third southbound vehicle struck the northbound car after the initial collision. The northbound vehicle driver sustained serious injuries in the accident. The drivers of the other two vehicles suffered serious injuries.
