Margate, FL (November 3, 2018) - A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a crash on State Road 7. The crash happened on Saturday, November 3rd around 9:30.
The Margate-Coconut Creek Fire Department responded to the crash scene. According to a department spokesperson, the motorcyclist collided with a car. The motorcyclist was ejected and thrown to the ground. He was conscious when first responders arrived on scene. EMS transported the victim to Broward Health North. There is no update on his condition at this time. Police have not said how the crash occurred. Neither the motorcyclist nor the driver of the car was identified.
State Road 7 was closed while police conducted a crash investigation. Drivers were told to use an alternate route to get to their destinations.
