Margate, FL (October 8, 2019) - One person was hurt following a vehicle crash in Margate on Sunday, October 6th. The collision took place in the 6000 block of Southgate Boulevard.
Officials report that five vehicles were initially involved in an accident on the roadway. Following the first crash, one of the vehicles left the road and collided with a home on Southgate. One person from the vehicle was seriously hurt. Rescue workers transported the victim to Broward Health North as a trauma alert. The victim was not immediately identified.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No further details have been released.
