Martin County, FL (July 12, 2021) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a deadly crash in Martin County on Monday, July 12th. The accident happened on Interstate 95 just south of Baker Road around 4:30 a.m.
According to the FHP, a car and an SUV were traveling southbound in the left lane of I-95 when the front of the car collided with the SUV. The car traveled off the road and into a lake, where it became submerged. The driver of the car, a 24-year-old man from California, died at the accident scene. The SUV driver, a 29-year-old Palm Beach County resident, was not injured. Neither of the victims were identified.
The crash is under investigation at this time. No further information is available.
