Melbourne, FL (November 19, 2019) - A pedestrian was killed in a crash that took place in Melbourne on Tuesday, November 19th. The crash was reported around 5:43 p.m. at the intersection of South City Harbor Boulevard and Silver Palm Avenue.
According to police, Anna Katherine Gallagher, 62, of Palm Bay, FL was struck by a car as she was walking along the roadway. The driver of the car was identified only as a 29-year-old man. Gallagher was later pronounced dead from her injuries. Officials have not released any details surrounding the crash and it is unclear at this time whether the driver will face any charges for his role in the crash.
