Merritt Island, FL (May 14, 2019) - One person was hurt in a crash involving a bus and a dump truck on Tuesday, May 14th. The crash happened at the intersection of North Sykes Creek and Merritt Avenue just before 11:00 a.m.
The Brevard County Fire Rescue along with police responded to the crash scene. The dump truck ended up on its roof after the collision, although it is not clear how the incident took place. At least one person was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. There is no update on the victim's condition or extent of their injuries.
Authorities are still investigating at this time.
