Miami Beach, FL (April 18, 2021) - Police in Miami responded to the scene of a fatal car accident on Saturday morning. The crash happened around 5:40 a.m. on Pine Tree Drive.
According to reports from the scene, a dark-colored SUV was traveling southbound on Pine Tree Drive when it swerved to avoid a car that was making a left turn. The SUV then veered off the roadway and collided with a tree. Two people in the SUV were killed in the crash and two others were transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing. There is no further information available.
