Miami, FL (January 6, 2020) - Two women are dead following a crash on the Julia Tuttle Causeway. The crash took place on Monday, January 6th.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of a silver Nissan was making a right turn onto the northbound ramp of I-95 when her vehicle collided with a concrete wall. The driver of the Nissan was killed in the crash. Her passenger was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Neither of the two victims has been identified at this time and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Drivers were urged to seek alternate routes while police investigated at the scene. There is no further information available.
